For part of this summer we are building a camp for one of our favorite customers in a secluded part of northern Maine. Due to the regulations of the lease it is on, and the remoteness of the site we made a prefab concrete foundation right at our shop in Bridgewater. First the footing was formed and poured in separate sections that could be held securely together, and then we poured ICF 4 feet tall on each piece. Building the foundation in 14 sections enabled us to move it with our telehandler and haul it to the woods.

      The foundation went together without any problems and we installed the floor trusses and began putting on waterproofing.
